How does Union Square Mortgage protect my personal information?

How does Union Square Mortgage collect my personal information?

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else? Limits for sharing by one will apply to everyone on your account.

Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Our affiliates include companies with a Union Square name, such as Union Square Insurance Agency.
Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Union Square Mortgage does not share with our nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

  • Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies.

Other important information

Mobile App Collected Information: We may collect information regarding your mobile device such as device settings, unique device identifiers, information about your location, and analytical information that may assist with diagnostics and performance. For your convenience, you may be asked to grant permission for access to your mobile device's geolocation data.
